You do not need to be a photographer to warrant taking this on safari - but if you are a photographer, you are going to love this Gilet! Simply put, along with the technical nature of the fabric, and built in UV protection, this gilet has pockets aplenty! Whether you need to store extra film and batteries, or want to keep a list of the species of wildlife you have seen on your travels, you are spoilt for choice of where to store what with this gilet.
If you do not feel that a fleece is going to be necessary for your safari (we recommend a fleece for 95% of safaris) as you are going to a very hot and humid area, then this will provide you with an extra layer should the need to keep warm arise.

• UPF 50: Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) is a measure of the percentage of ultraviolet sunlight that reaches your skin. Omni-Shade clothing protects you by blocking harmful sun exposure.
